We
are pleased to announce the opening of Wetappo Transfer Station at 4286
Hwy. 22 in Wewahitchka. Our hours of operation will be Wednesday and
Saturday from 7:00 AM-3:00 PM Central, excluding holidays.
Acceptable Materials:
- Municipal Solid Waste (household garbage)
- Construction
and Demolition Materials (non-hazardous materials such as cardboard,
wood, drywall, flooring, roofing materials, tile, windows, etc.)
- Asphalt/Concrete
- Yard Debris
- Scrap Metal
- Appliances (refrigerant must be removed from refrigerators, freezers, HVAC units, etc. prior to disposal)
- Tires (no rims)
Tipping
fees are $67.50 per ton for C&D debris, MSW, and metal. $32.50 per
ton for yard waste and concrete. Passenger/LT Tires are $5.50 ea. Large
Truck Tires are $12.00 ea. There is a $10.00 minimum charge. Payments
are accepted by debit card, credit card, or check.
Non-Acceptable Materials:
- Hazardous Materials (batteries, automotive fluids, paint, chemicals, etc.)
- Fluorescent Light Tubes and Ballasts
- Biological/Medical Waste
- Empty Hazardous Material Containers
- Radioactive Materials
